In Spain, there are these villages that are surounded of a beautifull environment.
They are known for the type of constructions of their houses made with slate.
And with points that remind you as if you were in a tale.

In this painting I've tryed with liquid watercolor.. It was interesting to use.. quite brilliant and intense colors..

I'm afraid was not very good choise the color selection for the face, looks like she burned with the sun ^^

There are these jets coming out of the sea floor. So, the jellyfish can go on top of one of these and... have fun!! :D

It's being a while since the last time I updated something, but I've continued painting from time to time, and finally I've been able to register myself at live drawing! :). It is going great so far, I'll upload some of the drawings as soon as I have my scanner again.

Today I wanted to try the masking film for paintings. And it worked really well. Since I didn't have to worry about to save the white spaces I could paint much more freely. I think I'm going to use it more often... =)

In order to continue learning, I did these tree paintings with only one color. A good exercise for all of us that are learning from the very beginning. Is easier to see how the water and the color works together when you don't have to worry about mixing colors.

Hello everyone and happy new year!

This Christmas I returned to Madrid to visit my family, and my mother encouraged me to try her watercolors, I did try it and after a day of painting I loved it! =)

I used the rest of my holidays painting at home and I wanted to share these watercolors with you guys and girls. So here they are, most of them are made in base of photos that I could find in internet, like this photo that I used for the cow, it was done by Alberto Cortes (very good photographer). I used as well a couple of photos that I took in Spain (the beach was taken in Bilbao and the house with a balcony in Cáceres).
I hope keep posting more in the few days/weeks.
